No store too small for IP-Enabled Video People Counting

IP-enabled video people counting means counts and live video can be distributed over the internet to a remote computer. The IP, or internet protocol, capability lets authorised people view the video, configure the counting area, verify counts and collect real-time data from anywhere in the world. The people counts can be integrated with existing point of sale (POS) data.

Video people counting is widely used by large retailers. But you don’t have to be a large retailer to benefit. We supply video IP counters to stores with as few as two doors to be monitored. And not just stores: museums, bars, libraries, banks, restaurants, kiosks, galleries, night clubs, sports venues and many other businesses have accurate video people counting systems.

A networked system provides scalability – you can start with a small trial and if satisfied expand as necessary with no limits.

Counting people entering and leaving a building is just one function. Using cameras means that businesses can track visitors – seeing where they pause to view displays or exhibits – and monitor, and thus reduce, queues. You’ll have hard data to analyse how well changes worked.
