Video People Counting
Tests show video people counting achieves over 98% accuracy. Sophisticated software algorithms detect people passing underneath video cameras. The people counters running the software send counts, and live video if required, over WiFi, Internet, IP, Ethernet, RS485 or RS232. Wide entrances and areas are handled by linking several cameras. Settings can be changed in software to optimise for inside or out, crowds, etc. Video people counting works in all conditions: rain, snow, sun, wind, poor light.
