VIP - Visual Image Processing
In our field, VIP stands for Video Image Processor. Software gathers information from data provided by a CCTV or other camera. Using AI, it automatically analyses video to detect events like people counts, traffic counts, occupancy and queuing times.
An operator selects a people or vehicle counting zone. Our software algorithms analyse the video stream to extract the requested information: footfall, vehicle counts, occupancy, hot spots, demographics.
VIPs are mounted above the road, entrance or other counting zone.
During vehicle counting one VIP can monitor several lanes or road junctions.
